Endorsement Process

The Democratic Party of Orange County considers endorsements in municipal races. We have made early endorsements for  candidates running for Mayor, City Council, School Board, Community College Districts and Water District for the November 6, 2012 election.  Endorsements issued by the DPOC in local and municipal races become the official endorsements of the California Democratic Party.

Candidates who were unable to submit questionnaires in time for our August 27th meeting may still file for endorsement.  Questionnaires must be submitted by  Thursday, September 20th at 6:00pm. Further candidate endorsements will then be considered at the next Central Committee meeting, which will take place on Monday, September 24th at 7:00pm at the Carpenters Union Hall at 1918 W Chapman in Orange, CA.

Please refer to the questionnaires below for further instructions.
